Vision

Building Resilient Communities

Community Center recognizes that there is need to build resilient communities in Africa capable of advancing the rights and empowerment of women and girls, empowering individuals and groups to become community change agents, and promoting health education and human rights for all people.

Vision

Gender Equality and Equity

We have an explicit focus on the rights of young girls and women. This focus is based on our understanding that gender is a universal contributor to poverty and that underlying causes of poverty and injustice are gendered.

Vision

Sustainable Communities

Securing sustainable livelihoods is crucial to CCID's agenda for human rights perspective. This implies that the well-being of communities can only be improved if they are consistently engaged in gainful agricultural economic practices.

Vision

Participatory Leadership and Governance

We believe in popular involvement from the lowest levels to foster development by improving access to basic social services and by empowering people to be involved in determining the way they are governed in decision making.
